Product Description

CHAMPION ULTRAFLON ™ Style 3 Packing is a high-purity white packing, cross-plaited from tough thermally stable ePTFE fibre yarn. This yarn is impregnated with densified particles of PTFE to generate extra lubrication.

Applications

CHAMPION ULTRAFLON ™ Style 3 Packing is used for exceptional chemically resistant applications in valves stem duties, rotary equipments and reciprocating pumps. It is also suitable for applications in mixers, reciprocating rods, centrifugal pumps, reactors, agitators and extruders, in applications where the low friction characteristics of pure PTFE are required.

Service Media

Compatible with media in the range pH 0-14, including corrosive acids and alkalis but excluding molten alkali metals, fluorine compounds and aqua regia. Can be used in highly aggressive and corrosive gases, concentrated acids and alkalies, ammonia, solvents, hydrocarbons, food stuff and pharmaceutical.

How Supplied

All popular sections from 3mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms. Special size and lengths available on request.
