High strength versatile graphite packing suitable for most pumps and valves applications
CHAMPION Style 68 RC Graphite Carbon Packing is a Expanded Pure Graphite Braided is a specially developed packing that combines the advantages of soft expanded high purity 99% graphite yarn with the toughness of carbon fibre yarn as reinforcement to improve tensile strength. This packing is fully treated with an inorganic passive corrosion inhibitor.
- Recommended for applications at high working temperatures and pressures.
- Very Good resistance to abrasion and wear due to high tensile strength.
- Excellent dry-running capabilities that reduce the need for continuous water flushing.
- Corrosion inhibitor safeguards metallic interfaces from galvanic corrosion.
- Readily adapts to worn or pitted surfaces for smooth running under adverse mechanical conditions also.
CHAMPION Style 68 RC Graphite Carbon Packing is used for the sealing of pumps, valves, mixers and sliders. Preferred for high performance applications in power supplying industry, metallurgy, oil refineries, chemical processing plants, paper mills.
Chemical Compatible with media in the range pH 0 -14, excluding strong oxidising agents.
Suitable for duties with boiler supply, condensate, soot service, fuels and lubricating oils, black, white and green slurry, high and low density pulp, treatment of waste water and minerals.
All popular sections from 6mm to 25mm in boxes containing length of 10m or in coil form by meter or 1/2.5 kilograms.
Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
