Product Description

CHAMPION Style 536 PTFE Graphite Hollow Core Packings is manufactured from premium yarn which combines the benefits of ePTFE, graphite and high temperature lubricants. This packing is self-Lubricating, excellent chemical Resistance and resulting in reducing downtime costs.

This packing has a hollow core of special elastomeric compound designed especially for equal distribution of pressure and self-adjustment during dynamic operations.

The high density elastomeric core provides resilience and resistance to high working pressures, and can absorb the vibration and eccentric movement created by worn running surfaces.
Low shaft wear.

Applications

CHAMPION GRAFLON™ Style 536 ePTFE Graphite Packings are best suited for dynamic and static duties, including pumps, valves, mixers and reactors, handling aggressive media. It is recommended for cooling water pumps and condensate extraction systems. This packing is widely used in refineries, petrochemicals & fertilizer Industries and is equivalent to popularly used “GFO Packings”.

Service Media

Compatible with media in the range pH 0-14 Water type fluids (water/steam), oil type fluids, organic solvents, hydrocarbons, chemical products, corrosive fluids (other than oxidizing acids) and low temperature fluids. Not recommended for oxygen, fuming nitric acid.

All popular sections from 6mm to 25mm in boxes containing 1/2.5 kilograms.

Also supplied as split pre-formed rings and ring sets. Special size and lengths available on request.
